Клініко-діагностична лабораторія функціонує в інституті з 1964 року, з 2017 року, в зв’язку  з реорганізацією увійшла до складу науково-дослідного сектора ДУ «Інститут гастроентерології НАМН України»

 

Laboratory tests are performed for the departments of the institute’s clinic and the consultative polyclinic. Measuring equipment meets the requirements of a modern laboratory and allows you to conduct a full range of laboratory tests, as well as to introduce new research methods. The test systems (USA, Poland, France, Austria) are used in the work, which provides high-quality and most informative data.

In recent years, minimally invasive / non-invasive types of diagnostics (rapid test systems) have been introduced with high sensitivity and specificity:

  • detection of Hellicobacter pyloriantigen in feces
  • detection of transferrin-hemoglobin in feces
  • detection of calprotectin in feces
  • detection of antigen to G. Lamblia in feces

MicroCC-20Plus automatic hematology analyzer (made in the USA), designed to simultaneously determine 20 hematological parameters and determine the leukocyte formula in 3 subpopulations of cells, this equipment allows you to get accurate, reliable results in a short time and prevent human influence on research results.

Automatic electrolyte analyzer Roche AVL 9180, (made in Germany), designed to measure the content of potassium, sodium, chlorine in blood, urine, dialysis and aqueous solutions. Provides accurate results in a short period of time, which is essential for urgent patients.

Semi-automatic biochemical analyzer GDG Stat Fax 4500 (made in the USA) is a compact and autonomous laboratory device designed to study the level of biochemical parameters: enzymes, drugs and immunoturbidimetric research methods in human biological fluids

The Microlab 300 Biochemical Semi-Automatic Analyzer (manufactured in the Netherlands) is a system that is programmed to perform research in clinical biochemistry. The list of tests that the analyzer can perform is very wide, and modern technology and user-friendly software meet the individual requirements of any clinical laboratory.

Semi-automatic coagulometer K 3002 – Optic (made in Russia), belongs to the group used in coagulation analyzers with an optical system for determining the initial phase of blood clotting. It allows you to make chronometric measurements. The device is equipped with two independent functional measurement channels, which allows you to speed up and facilitate the implementation of research.

Collection of biological material is carried out using disposable systems, test tubes and containers, which reduces the risk of contamination of the patient and meets the standards of a modern clinical laboratory.

INTRODUCTION OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND RESEARCH METHODS

According to the recommendation of the Dnipro City Department of Laboratory Research, a binocular microscope with a MICROmed XS-5520 video camera with MicroCapture 6/0software is used to monitor microbiological research, as well as to prepare reports and form archives.

Bacteriologists work on highly specific disposable chromogenic media (manufacturer Grasso, Poland), which reduces the period of microbiological research and identify not only the genus of microorganisms, but its species
